The Yankees Have Recalled RHP Clayton Beeter

Yes he’s back. RHP Clayton Better has been recalled by the Yankees:

Reliever Clayton Beeter has a locker in the #Yankees’ clubhouse this afternoon at Yankee Stadium. He was optioned to Triple-A on July 4th.

Reason is RHP Mark Lieter JR is now on the IL:

Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves:
•Placed RHP Mark Leiter Jr. on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to 7/7) with a left fibular head stress fracture.
•Recalled RHP Clayton Beeter (#29) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Mark Lieter JR will most likely be done for the year after feeling a POP in his leg while covering 1B this past weekend in Queens:

Mark Leiter Jr. said he felt a pop in his left leg when he was covering first in the extra inning game in Cincinnati, racing with Elly De La Cruz to the bag.
