The Yankees and DBacks are Making Progress on a Zac Gallon, and Eugenio Suarez Trade Package

The Yankees and DBacks are making progress, slow as it may be, progress towards a Zac Gallon+Eugenio Saurez Trade Package.

As of right now the DBacks are not sellers BUT… They are listening to the Yankees here.

The DBacks are asking the Yankees for a package headlined by 2 of the Yankees plethora of Starting Pitching prospects.

RHP Ben Hess and LHP Ben Shields are the 2 main names being discussed at this moment. LHP’s Xavier Vivas, Griffin Herring, and Kyle Carr also discussed.

After that the DBacks love OF Everson Periera, C Jesus Rodriguez, and 1B Tyler Hardman. They Also have asked about 3B Dylan Jasso.

I will point out, there’s always surprises in these trade talks when they go down. BIG SURPRISES!

BOTH RHP Zac Gallon and 3B Eugenio Suarez are on expiring contracts which drastically hurts the trade package the DBacks can get for them.

Its also worth noting the Yankees have asked about RHP Merril Kelly though he is 6 years older then Zac Gallon and not as much interest ot the Yankees due to that fact.

It will be interesting to see how this progresses as we are RIGHT ON 3 weeks to the trade deadline now.
