So yesterday we got a few updates about the Josh Hader situation so lets discuss them and try to make sense of them.
The 1st update is while he is not being shopped the Brewers are 100% listening and will move him if the right offer comes along.
Notice a little better than the package as the Yankees got for Chapman. That is (After I looked it up) this:
Yankees got: RHP Adam Warren, AA INFIELDER Gleyber Torres, SINGLE A OF Rashard Crawford, and and OF Billy McKinney.
Cubs got: LHP Aroldis Chapman
Crawford has yet to get close to the Bigs. McKinney is now a blue Jay.
So if we match this up then all the Yankees have to do is offer this:
Brewers get: INF Miguel Andujar, OF Estevan Florial, RHP Luis Cessa, and OF/INF Anthony Volpe.
Yankees get: LHP Josh Hader.
YES THAT’S IT! Thus why I am confused by this trade demand.
WHY WOULDN’T AND HAVEN’T THE YANKEES DONE THIS ALREADY?
As this update says the Yankees are the landslide favorites for him as the Padres are in no position to even get in talks for him:
As I have said before I will be stunned if this trade does not happen.
It makes to much sense as Andujar is already a MLB proven player unlike Torres who AT THE TIME OF THE TRADE was a AA minor leaguer who was as unproven as they come.
I am confused as anyone why this trade isn’t done yet. Let’s stay tuned for the next few days for this one!
