We are at the point Japanese Star 1B Munetaka Murkaami will be posted at literally ANY MOMENT. Now I ask, WHY DO PEOPLE HATE THE MUNETAKA MURAKAMI FIT FOR THE YANKEES?
SO IS MUNETAKA MURAKAMI A FIT FOR THE YANKEES?
YES! HE’S LITERALLY A PERFECT FIT!
We are talking about a career .270+ lefty pull hitter playing along side the greatest RH hitter ever in Yankees RF Aaron judge! HE WILL BE FINE IN THE MLB!
Murakami had to be THE MAN on the Swallows in Japan’s NBP. That is however NOT the case once he joins the Yankees. He can relax and do his role beside THE MAN Aaron Judge.
I agree he strikes out a lot, SO WHAT! He has shown an ability to lower that strike out %! He also will get far, FAR better pitches to hit in the MLB playing beside Aaron Judge! As did OF’s Cody Bellinger AND Juan Soto!
DO YOU REALLY THINK HAL STIENBRENNER IS GOING TO PASS ON A 26 YEAR OLD STAR 1B WHEN HE HAS A GAPING WHOLE AT 1B??? NO CHANCE!
Murakami being a lefty hitter, can miss pitches to RF in Yankee Stadium and still hit Home Run’s. You really think Murkami and Yakinees don’t know this?
KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN CONSIDEIRNG WHY DO PEOPLE THING MUNETAKA MURAKAMI FIT FOR THE YANKEES IS BAD:
He cannot be a bad fit for the Yankees when fixing all of these:
- The Yankees have no 1B!
- The Yankees have loved this kid for years.
- Hal is not passing ona 26 year old superstar from Japan!
- Hal wants back in the Japan market and singing Murakami is the way!
Another factor here is one of Yankees GM Brian Cashman’s advisors is none other then Murkaami’s childhood IDOL Hideki Matsui and yes he will help the Yankees in this pursuit.
Further analyzing the Munetaka Murakami fit with the Yankees, we find the fact the Yankees have no 1B for the 2026 season THUS ARE DESPERATE FOR A 1B LIKE MURAKAMI! That is due too Goldschmidt hitting Free Agency now that the 2026 seaosn is over.
So again I ask, WHY THE CRAP DOES ANYONE THINK Munetaka Murakami EVEN A BAD FIT?
Accept the fact Murakami a perfect fit for the Yankees NO MATTER WHAT!
We have all heard the arguments players coming from Japan will never hit in the MLB far to much! JUST STOP IT NOW! Almost every succeeds and then some!
Just stop with the completely unfounded lies he’s not a fit with the Yankees!
