Startling news shook the baseball world today. Domingo German retired from baseball but is it official? No word yet…
I checked with my sources and can confirm it is a retirement but not even the Yankees know if its official or just for this shortened season.

So the question I must ask is will he ever be back? I don’t think so… Not form what I have heard.
There is still a ton of unknowns here but I can tell you its not just the suspension. There’s a few other contributing factors that are not public yet.
Stay alert as more info could come out at any time.
This is also Confirmation that Clarke Schmidt is taking his rotation spot and he was told this by the Yankees.
If such is the case it’s a temporary retirement to void out his contract and he could then go elsewhere. Stay alert here as well.
We most likely will not know officially for a few days or weeks yet but it’s shocking for all baseball fans right now.
